Happy Four-Day Weekend!
It's Friday, Friday! Gotta get down on Friday!
Hello! Happy four-day weekend! It’s Karyn writing this but I just talked to Jen so consider this from both of us. Not only is she in writing-mode trying to finish her book, but she’s also been back and forth to the vet FOUR TIMES today with Libby because she scratched her cornea. (Dogs don’t care about deadlines.)
It’s 4:00 pm in sunny Los Angeles and I just made myself a sorta-margarita. I’m doing Weight Watchers now (6.6 pounds down!), so I’m going heavy on the tequila and light on sugar/mixer intake. (It’s basically lime Bubly with tequila and a small dash of Rose’s lime juice.) Mary is being a weirdo and growing at NOTHING on the corner of the patio.
Jen and I chatted about how much we loved the comments on the teenage heartthrob post and how we all had crushes on the same people. Except Alan Alda. (WHAT?! 🤣) No, I’m kidding, no judgement. (It’s just so weird.) Alan Alda is swell. (But Alan Alda?)
