I Had to Call the Fire Department!

I don't want to brag, but I might be a hero.

YOU GUYS. It’s 3:17 AM as I’m typing this, and the fire department is outside. I’m the one who called them.

Okay, so here’s what happened:

Mary woke me up to pee around 2:30 AM like she always does. I got up, let her out, and went back to bed. I was trying to go back to sleep when I suddenly heard a big boom outside and saw a flash of light. It sounded like someone threw a firecracker in my driveway or something. (My driveway runs parallel along the side of the house, right next to my bedroom.)
