Before you come for me, I’ll refer you to our archives where I’m on record as having become a Swiftie. This isn’t an anti-Swift post. I promise it’s documented that I like TS now, so this is not coming from a nay-Tay stance. I’m in, I’m invested, I have favorites, it’s all good. And while I’m excited for the album drop on 4/19, I will not be up listening to it at midnight because I’m not waiting up until midnight to do anything.
My point is, musicians have been producing great albums for a long time now. This isn’t new. Music that moves us, music that speaks to where we are in our lives, music that inspires us, music that gets us riled up enough to do five more minutes on the StairMaster.
Music is literally the soundtrack to our lives.
Karyn and I discussed doing a “list” theme week, where we document our top five to ten choices in all kinds of stuff. As a test balloon if List Week is something you guys like, here are my top ten(ish) albums of all time.
